Die gesamte Klaviatur der zwischenmenschlichen Spielchen wird in diesem Buch gespielt. Jeder hat sein Geheimnis, jeder belügt den anderen, Eifersucht, Besitzansprüche... Das war mir ein bißchen zu viel auf einmal

"My Darling Daughter" follows Susie Jukes and her daughter that was adopted at birth. When her daughter gets in contact it turns Susie and her husband's life upside down, whether this is for the best or not remains to be seen. The storyline was gripping and fast paced. I felt it was very relatable in places and well researched, touching on some raw subjects throughout. This is a definite must read thriller from J P Delaney and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it! 5 Stars *****

I stuck it through as I wanted to know what happened but at the same time wanted to 'shut it ' throughout the whole story..

JP Delaney's first psychological thriller, The Girl Before, was an instant Sunday Times and New York Times bestseller and went on to sell over a million copies worldwide. His subsequent books Believe Me, The Perfect Wife, and Playing Nice were also top ten bestsellers, while Playing Nice was a Richard and Judy Book Club selection. Recently, JP Delaney has been heavily involved in the television adaptation of The Girl Before, as lead writer and co-executive producer.
