**I voluntarily read a copy of this book courtesy of the author/publisher** Gone Missing is the first book in Jami Davenport's Gone Missing Detective Agency series. While I am used to Davenport's sports romances, I was excited to dive into this romantic suspense. Rebecca "Becca" Galbraith is an heiress whose father has recently disappeared. She chooses to hire a PI to look into his disappearance and hopefully get some answers. While Bronson Warner agrees to take her case, in the end he realizes that he might have made a huge mistake because of how much this case is going to change his life. As part of the agreement, Becca and Bronson agree to enter into a marriage of convenience to help Bronson get closer to the answers they seek. They agree to stay together for six months, which should be long enough to wrap up the case, but do best laid plans ever go as they are supposed to? Rarely do they, but in this case, throw in growing feelings, numerous threats and two teenagers that neither Becca or Bronson saw coming and you have a lot more complications than either of them expected. I enjoyed the story, and the characters were really great, however it took me a really long time to get into it. I think it could be the fact it was written in the third person, but once I got into a flow, the story started to move for me. This is a really good start to this new series and I look forward to what is to come next!
