Trust is a hard thing to depend on when so many people have broken in over your lifetime. Emma knows that first hand. When she finds out the father of her baby had her in a fake marriage, that about breaks her! It sure would tip the scales for me! She's about destitute too. Not much has gone right in her life and this is the last straw. Joshua Spencer comes along and he thinks he's going to save the day but as I said, trust and charity are issues for Emma. A wonderful book of finding trust again, forgiveness and what family means. Little Rosie and Tommy were a right light to the story also. Such sweet children! I truly enjoyed this book!
