Delightful novella! I read this as a bonus book included at the end of Sweet Home Alaska, and it was a very nice surprise to find. Rachel is investigating the town's mythical guardian when she runs into the no-nonsense Callan, who is raising his adorable niece. This was a sweet romance, a bit of drama and intrigue, with wonderfully developed characters who will steal right into your heart from the very first page. I love this author's writing style, and even with the brevity of this story she hits it out of the park. Its timeline takes place before Sweet Home Alaska, so be sure to read it first. Highly recommended.
