A Holiday Homecoming

I enjoyed this simple story. This is book 1 and I look forward to reading others. This book is well written and has humour as well as some history. The only thing stopping me giving a 5* rating is the virtually no reference to previous relationship between the main characters , especially as to what exactly happened...she goes away and returns and he has a child and now she has been away for years only returning for a wedding. I felt it was like there was something missing or lacking in the depth

This is a truly delightful second chance holiday romance. I felt this book was simply a treasure trove of goodness! Caitlyn and Logan were adorable and lovable. Falling for this couple was as easy as breathing because they were a perfect match. The story is a enticing blend of cute, sweet, emotional, heat, humor, small town charm and swoon worthy romance. Toss in some drama, tension and a few twists and you have got yourself a heart melting, all the feels read that will leave you with a smile on your face and a fierce eagerness for book two. I'm electing to post a forthright review.

Oh my gosh!!! This was so ridiculously cute! I couldn’t stop laughing and smiling through the whole book! This is a first love, second chance story with characters that won me over immediately. Caitlyn was so much fun. She just wanted to get in and out as quickly as a Christmas wedding would allow her. Unfortunately for her, Logan had other plans and his determined persistence made me love him. And oh my gosh, this couple get up to some of the sexist shenanigans I’ve ever read! Each time I thought things were going to go a certain way, this author switched things up and I found myself falling even harder in love with this couple. A perfect read to spend a few hours during the holiday break with.
