Caitlyn and Logan met years ago and were attracted then, but nothing came of it. Now, her son is her priority. The little boy is adorable and well-written. The story itself is cute and has surprising twists, but a couple of non-realistic bits pulled me out of the story. The town busybodies were all helpful and sweet but had trouble keeping secrets. :) This is my voluntary review of a copy I received from Book Sirens.

Deep in debt due to medical bills she finds herself inheriting her childhood home. With plans to sell to get her and her son back on solid ground. She's not expecting the effect her neighbor and community has on their lives. Now she's at a crossroads. Selling would get rid of the debt but then she would have to go back home breaking multiple hearts. What will she do? Can she find a way to get it all? I received a copy of this book from the author. Review voluntarily given.

I am a sucker for books involving kids and animals. A lady and her adopted son return to her hometown in order to get her childhood home fixed up and sold. She can't believe who the person is that shows up to let them in. This story is an extremely emotional rollercoaster ride for the heroine who has a lot on her plate and keeps getting overwhelmed. She must learn to rely on God and remember to let him do the worrying. I received an ARC for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
