I do not want to give away the ending of this book, but it really annoyed me. The bulk of the story was okay. I do not believe I'm ghosts or any of that kind of thing, but I can suspend disbelief for the sake of a story. I enjoyed Harry Potter and don't believe in magic, but I don't think J K Rowling believes in magic either. I think I will have to stop reading Jodi Picoult books, because I do not enjoy fantasy when the author thinks it could actually happen.

Compelling book. Picoult is a clever storyteller beautifully linking the many mother and daughter relationships. The twists were surprising and unexpected and gave a poignant and satisfying ending to the book. Couldn't put it down.

An amazing story, which is often the case when you pick up any of Jodi's books. I kept reading on, reading for longer periods of time then I had planned. I love the twist but I also love how Jodi keeps a great ending. Brilliant from start to finish. Now I must buy another of her books to fill the hole I will have tonight now that I have finished this book.
