Hope and Cash couldn’t be more perfect for each other and I really couldn’t help but fall in love with them as the book went on. While they don’t have a lot of experience in love, the way that they are drawn to one another is beautiful to see. It’s their connection that definitely makes this book memorable, as well as their devotion to one another. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I really liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable although there was some violence and discussion of drug use. The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. Hope’s mom and her mom’s boyfriend were major jerks. They definitely deserved the consequences they received for their actions. There was some drama and angst but it was resolved. Hope and Cash were lucky to have the friend group that they had. The lake was important to Hope and Cash. Cash was protective of Hope.
