About this ebook

What happens when the search & rescue veteran and his K9 get trapped in a remote mountain chalet with a gorgeous older woman during a freak winter storm?

My first time on a ski slope in twenty years, I overestimated my abilities and got lost in a blizzard that hit the mountaintop faster than anyone expected. Trapped in the trees with a twisted knee and zero visibility, I’m quickly losing consciousness when an insistent wet nose and a pair of strong arms save me.

Now I’m in a mountain cabin in front of a roaring fire and a muscle bound shirtless man who insists on getting me naked.

Too bad it’s merely to save me from hypothermia and nothing else.

Or is it?

Lincoln Abrams is the sexiest man to ever put his hands on me. Even though he’s barely a few years older than my daughter, our age difference doesn’t deter him in seducing me at all.

Charmingly sweet, supremely confident, and intent on adoring every inch of me, he is out of a romance novel (or maybe a porn), but either way, I grab hold of this opportunity with both hands and let him show me pleasure I didn’t know my body was capable of.

Literally.

When the question of his manwhoring past is brought to the forefront, I have to remind myself that this is nothing more than one amazing night born of proximity, anxiety, and convenience.

I can’t expect a relationship with a man fifteen years my junior who lives in another state, and any fanciful dreams I had last night in the throes of orgasmic ecstasy must be forgotten.

Linc doesn’t agree and refuses to let me ghost him, promising if I do, he’ll find and give me the spankings I desperately need.

He says I’m his to adore, and he’s never letting me go.

After one night off the mountain in Spring City, I might believe him.

This is the fourth story in the "Veteran K9 Team". It is a stand alone story that is a fairly short and quick read. The story is about Linc and Brandi. He and Barron have headed Silver Mountain Ski Resort. Linc leads one Silver Mountain’s Search & Rescue teams. He is on duty when a storm hits the mountain. Brandi is visiting her daughter when she gets caught in a storm. This is an older lady and younger man story. The witty banter is great. I enjoyed this story as much as well as the others in t

This was quite different. Linc ends up saving Brandi when she is injured while skiing. They spend time in the rescue cabin waiting out the snowstorm. Things get steamy and Brandi and Linc is all there for her. Brandi is worried about their age gap but Lincoln shows her that they are meant to be. Their chemistry was super hot. I enjoyed that the woman was older than her man. Linc doesn’t care about the age difference after all age is nothing but a number. I loved the extended epilogues.

I think Linc might be my favorite in this series. Everyone thinks he is a player but that was a while ago. I love how he treats Brandi. I love how he falls. This is a sweet but so very spicy story and I like it a lot. I like how Brandi starts to believe but even before that she takes a chance. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
