About this ebook

Twenty-three-year-old hockey stud Logan Pelletier is having the time of his life as the ultimate bachelor. It’s all about hockey and living it up with his friends. He has no time for love, let alone a relationship. Until a spunky, hockey-playing stripper dances into his life... and his bed.

Miss independent Cassidy Reynolds is already 0-2 in the marriage department. And the twice divorced twenty-four year old isn’t looking for lucky number three. She’s focused on hockey and getting a college degree. Stripping is just a means to an end, but when her friends from the Alaska Blizzard hockey team start hanging out at the club, she knows it won’t be long before they figure out her secret.

As Logan and Cassie blur the lines, will it be game over for their friendship or will it be the start of something more?

4 Star reviews of Calling Cassie (Alaska Blizzard #8) by Kat Mizera This is friends to lovers Cassidy Reynolds and Alaska Blizzard Logan Pelletier’s story and although not my favourite in the series it was an entertaining read and a good addition to the series. Cassie is 24 years old and has been married and divorced twice so she has certainly packed a lot into her young life. Now she is focused on getting her degree and the last thing she is looking for is a relationship. Paying for her education by stripping, Cassie is concerned that her friends may find out. Logan isn’t looking for a relationship either and yet there is something in him that longs to find “the one”. However as their friendship develops it soon becomes obvious that the attraction that sizzles between them may be too intense to ignore. It was so good to be back in Alaska with the members of the Blizzard hockey team as this has quickly become one of my favourite hockey series. The secondary characters were entertaining and it was wonderful to catch up with some familiar faces and see what has been happening in their lives.

5 Stars for Calling Cassie ( Alaska Blizzard #8) I love my visits to Alaska and I have to say I fell hard and fast for Logan Pelletier, in fact I will go as far as saying this is my favourite so far in this great series. Cassie Reynolds hasn’t had much success when it comes to love at only 24 she finds herself twice divorced and now she is determined to focus on getting her degree, she is not looking for a relationship and to make ends meet and pay for her education she turns to pole dancing. Logan is a player on and off the ice but deep down he is a man looking for love and from the moment he meets Cassie he knows she could be the one. What follows is a friendship that soon turns into so much more but will Cassie trust her heart one more time…. This book ticked all my boxes, I swooned, I sighed, I smiled, I giggled as I watched these two get to know each other. It was wonderful being back with the Blizzard and Calling Cassie is the perfect addition to this series. I highly recommend this gem to all romance lovers.
