Oz and his team are much happier to have a wider pool of people to attempt to find a mate with. But Oz missteps in his plans to rescue the Earthlings from their captivity when he tries to "buy" his human flier! Now he's going to have to work even harder to get her to trust him! Emily and the others; Lena, Luci, Zac & Joel soon find themselves rescued but are they really any better off? I loved that Emily was able to use her education as a lawyer on Earth in her newfound freedom. Her gymnastics may have saved her butt but it's her mental talents that are just as much use in her new normal! Oz makes a bit of a hash of rescuing his potential mate and I love how he has to essentially grovel to get her back. The abilities they share later are amazing! The little twist of the Earthlings capture was one I did not see coming. Synnr's Hope Lena and the other Earth abductees are slowly acclimatising to their new life with the Synnrs. They know there is little chance of them ever getting home, so they will have to forge a new life here. Lena is/was a DEA agent and a damn good one. She doesn't want to just sit around, she wants to be productive. But until she matches with someone or her legal standing is solidified there are only so many opportunities available. But when she gets notification of a match she is left in a quandary. She knows Solan but he is stinking rich, attached to the nobility and she is sure he'd never look at her twice. Solan is not very receptive to the match either. His parents married and were torn apart when his father met his match. He doesn't want to repeat that and cause even more upset within his family. But Lena is strong, independent, and seems to want to move on from her former life. Can he match with her and keep emotions out of it? I loved the murder house LOL. What a way to get partners who continually doubt each other to work together! Lena learns to trust Solen and Solan learns that there is more to life than protocol, reputation, and family standing. The little hints for the next book are tempting. Can't want to see what unfolds! Synnr's Spark The home of the Synnr's is what Earth should be emulating. They don't care what combination or number of people are in a mating. They only care that you love each other. Grace has always felt a tad left out. She is 100%human but brought up amongst the Zulir. Her dad, siblings, aunts, and uncles are all Synnr's and she has always been envious of their sparks and wings. She feels she'll never be a real Synnr until she gets matched. But her love life is not easy. She is drawn to both Crowze and Zac for differing reasons. Just as she opens up to the possibility of...something, she catches sight of something she didn't expect. But can really make a go of it with not one but two matches? Zac, Crowze, and Grace are a beautiful triad! They complement each other and smooth out each other's hard edges and allow each individual to be the best they can be, no worries over their part in the relationship - they can just be. I may be not so secretly, not so patiently, waiting for a certain royal to get her HEA, and if it's with a hunkalicious Guard even better!
