Though I accidentally skipped 'In It to Win It', whoopsie! This was a far better improvement then that mess of a sequel I read ages ago. Arya (unusual but cute name) and Harrison were such a cute couple even though I didn't really see much chemistry between then, the sexual tension was through the roof so to some extent it made up for it. This release had all the elements that typically wins me over: romance, sports, wild family antics, sad backstory and sexy times. Now why the three stars? Storyline was generic and bland, and there wasn't anything that glued me to the pages but nevertheless an overall enjoyable read.

So much emotion! Arya and Harrison had me from that first yoga session, and they didn't let go. Arya's story is heartwrenching, and Harrison is just too lovable for words. This pair is so good together even if the relationship does have some growing pains to get through. I've enjoyed this series from the start, but I think this couple has become my new favorite of the Wynn's. They have terrific chemistry, they're likable, both together and separately, and it's impossible to not root for them. As I've come to expect from Kelly Jamieson, the story is well written, the characters are engaging, and the romance is hot. All in all, another entertaining read in the Wynn Hockey series. Each book in the series focuses on a different couple, but there is a continuing storyline. That said, Jamieson does give enough backstory so that each book can work as a standalone, although I can't imagine not getting to enjoy this whole series from the start.

4 Star Review of For The Win (Wynn Hockey #4) by Kelly Jamieson I enjoy Kelly Jamieson’s style of writing, her characters are strong and yet she shows that they can be human and not the “perfect” hero or heroine and this makes for a realistic and enjoyable read. For The Win is the fourth in the latest series, Wynn Hockey and is Harrison Wynn and Arya Ross’s story, who we first met in Win Big and I really enjoyed it. Harrison is desperate to prove he has what it takes to make it in the NHL. He lives to play hockey although he needs to be more focused and that’s where Arya comes in. However Arya has been burnt in the past and she doesn’t want to open herself up to heartache. The family dynamics of the Wynn family is convoluted and my head spinning at times. However you know that they love one another and will protect and have one another’s back at all times. The chemistry between Harrison and Arya sizzles and as the intensity grows you could feel the heat. I loved Harrison, he is totally swoon worthy, he made me laugh and smile. A well written romance which gave me chills (in a good way).
