Although I am not an easy mystery thriller reader, this one peaked my interest and kept me entertained. Yes, I easily guessed who the killer was but I was already invested in the story as I really liked the way the killings were portrayed, and I wanted to see why etc. I am now eager to read more books of this series!. I've read a lot of books written by Lena Bourne; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books. She has done an excellent job at writing another great book; this is the prequel for the E&M Investigation Series Prequel; Mark & Eva are working with the German authorities trying to capture a serial killer. I received a free copy of this book via booksprout and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.

This was a great prequel to the E&M Investigations series. It had everything that I was hoping for from the mystery genre. The characters felt like they were supposed to and worked well in this setting. It left me wanting to read more in this universe.
