I jumped at the chance to read this series because I really liked another series by this author! While it was a really good read I honestly didn't like it as much as the other series. I don't even have a reason, it was well written with great, strong characters that I can get behind and root for as well as plenty of action and intrigue. All that said, just not my favorite read this year, really a good read, just not my favorite.

This was a different o the normal vampire books. A vampire story mixed in with a kind of dystopian world where one rules all and no one is safe from her reach. I liked this series and was glad to have read it in a complete set, waiting would have frustrated me lol
