This series contains three books in total: 1. Harpy's Mission: 'Harpy's Mission' is Laura Greenwood's first book in her "Supernatural Retrieval Agency" series. It's a quirky, quick, easy read where Harpy and Elias, her partner at the Supernatural Retrieval Agency, are both harpies and that makes their banter back and forth an absolute joy to read. Not so much for their grumpy boss though. Harpy has always wanted to work for the Agency and finally, the day came. Her first week was a bit of a test it seems. A terribly grumpy boss, an overly cheerful co-worker, not being able to capture the bad guy on their first assignment although they did catch a murderer, and then becoming bait for a kidnapping. Oh, and is that a romance forming? I look forward to reading 'Harpy's Escape' next. 2. Harpy's Escape 'Harpy's Escape' is the second book in Laura Greenwood's "Supernatural Retrieval Agency" series where we have a building slow burn between Elias and Harper. Ocypete is making things difficult by being out in the open and proclaiming to be a victim. Now, no one wants to believe them. A new case comes along that winds up getting Harper kidnapped again by Regina. We learn that Regina is looking for male Harpies but her reasoning hasn't come out yet. Chasing clues, the building heat, and kidnappings consume this storyline that ends in a cliffhanger. I'm confident all will be answered in 'Harpy's Freedom' coming next. I can't wait. 3. Harpy's Freedom Welcome to Laura Greenwood's third book in her "Supernatural Retrieval Agency" series. 'Harpy's Freedom" starts with Harper still being held in an apartment by Ocypete. There doesn't seem to be any way for her to get herself out of this mess and yet, not all her guards are quite what they appear to be. Unbeknownst to her, Elias has something in the works. Oh, and a discovery is made there is someone in the agency who has been working with Ocypete, and when it was revealed who, I think my eyes bugged a bit at the surprise. Once again, this was a quick, easy read that gave me a few hours of enjoyment that I would recommend for an afternoon get-away.

I've never been a fan of harpies BUT am a huge Laura Greenwood fan & the plot sounded worth a read. I am so glad I didn't pass on this, 3 books in 1 set!!! Besides, it does have a male harpy & a cupid which I don't think many stories exist about them. The character development actually has me liking harpies now. Go figure. The world is interesting & intriguing as well. The story has drama, betrayal, action etc. And remember, if your dream comes true, it might not be all you thought it'd be. As Harper can attest. I recommend this complete series in one book, without a doubt!

I will repeat myself, I love book sets. Why, because you can keep reading and you don’t have to wait for the next book. I read these three books and enjoyed them, the second time around I found out more and enjoyed reading them again. Harper’s wish comes true and she joins the Agency, however she has trouble catching the bad guy and she has to figure out what is going on before she loses her dream job. A good read to take on a trip or read in your back yard. I would recommend this book and series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
