About this ebook

Discover this paranormal romance set in Ancient Egypt and based on the creation myths of the New Kingdom. It follows Nehmetawy, otherwise known as The Distant Goddess and the Eye Of Ra, as Thoth sets out on a journey to convince her to return to Egypt from her self-imposed exile.

The Eye Of Ra yearns for freedom, can she find it with the god of wisdom?

Despite her self-imposed exile, the gods want the Eye of Ra back.

But Nehmetawy doesn't want to be used as a weapon anymore and wants to stay free. When Thoth turns up to try and charm her into returning, she's determined to resist his advances.

Soon their conversations lead to more, and neither of them are able to ignore the connection between them.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. She was known as the Eye of Ra but she didn't want to destroy anymore so leaves. Thoth is sent to bring her back to Karnak. During the time spent together, she gains a human form and a new identity as Nehmetawy. I like how she takes control of own existence.

The Eye of Ra. No name, no body, no voice, no friends. The Eye of Ra has an empty life except for the death and destruction Ra orders her to perform until the day when she rebels and leaves Karnak. She rejects all of the gods Ra sends to persuade her to return until the one who treats her differently. I enjoyed the gentle approach that Thoth used and the friendship that grew. I received a free copy but my review is honest and voluntary.
