The Obscure Academy caters to all kids of paranormals, teaching them all manner of things. Zoya is a ghoul, a vegetarian one at that (so far the only one like her) and Cyprus is a necromancer who has crushed on her since they started school. Fun, sweet and cute with entertaining characters and a lovely HEA. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

What I like most about these gel good reads is that they cover certain human characteristics and needs. Zoya is Indian and a ghoul who is vegetarian. Cyprus is a necromancer who is smitten with Zoya. Seeing these two flirt and finally date is a sigh of relief. Knowing Zoya’s comfort lies in her dietary preferences and struggling with her family on accepting this is interesting. The fact she does get comfortable with her diet and finally gets accepted makes a good story about enjoying who she is.

I really liked Zoya. She is a vegetarian, but that is not normal for a ghoul. Cyprus truly likes Zoya and wants to get to know her, but she thinks he only likes her for her looks. It was sweet to see them fall in love. I enjoyed the formal dinner and when he cooked for Zoya. It was interesting to learn a bit about ghouls. I recommend you read this fast, fun, sweet, engagingging read. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
