About this ebook

Morgiana knows that her best chance of avoiding the thieves from her prophecy is to study at Grimm Academy.

As a scholarship student, Morgiana doesn't want to do anything to destroy her chances of a better life, and that includes when two of the new students find a mysterious cave on the academy grounds full of enough treasure to make them all unbelievably wealthy.

But Morgiana sees it as the danger it is - and that if they take it, they might need to face the thieves who are part of the prophecy that could end her time at the academy, as well as her life.

Can she save them all before it's too late?

Dance Of Daggers is part of the Grimm Academy fantasy fairy tale romance series and is a standalone retelling of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves. It includes a fairy tale heroine determined to save herself and a sweet m/f romance.

I loved this retelling of Ali Babba and the thieves. Greenwood always does a marvelous job creating characters with personality and heart. They are relatable, despite the fairytale depictions and the prophesies hanging over them. Ali and Giana quickly develop a friendship after she gives he and his sister (Kasi) a tour. Finding the cave and getting drawn into their prophesies was not expected, but now deal with it they must, especially after Kasi's carelessness. Ali, who has feelings beyond friendship for Giana, is determined to keep her safe, while she is focused more on catching the culprits. (Funny how you focus your attention when stressed.) Will they both be successful in their task? I am a huge fan of the Grim Academy series (among other Greenwood series), and can't recommend them highly enough. You can read them as stand-alones though there might be slight spoilers in the couples seen together if their not read in order.

That was really fun. I’m not terribly familiar with the tale of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves so I didn’t have any preconceived notions or particular expectations when I started reading this book. (Other than expecting that, once again, the author would provide us with an excellent story.) I really liked how the story focused on these characters being generally good people and the solution to their issues was all about brain power and not brawn. I enjoy this series a lot

This is a very overlooked fairy tale I think as everyone always seems to go for Aladdin rather than this one and yet it is so clever. I loved the world that was built around it and although there are links with the book "Teller of Tales" by the same author, you could in all honesty read it as a standalone. Morgiana is cursed with a prophecy and it is hanging over her head. She is working so hard and yet it looks like it will all be for nothing. She came across as sweet, resourceful and clever.
