Song Of Seas Because of how much I’ve loved other books from the author, it kills me just a little to admit that I didn’t connect with this one. I am a very devoted Little Mermaid fan. The drama and angst of the original story rips out my heart every time I experience it. And, while I found Mati’s family drama to be an interesting twist, the solution to her prophesy felt too simple compared to what previous couples went through.
