I have enjoyed all the alternate versions of the well-loved Grimm's fairy stories I grew up listening to, Laura always writes her versions so well. This story has a prophecy and a curse, as well as swans. Will they be able to beat the curse and achieve their happy ending in this super fairytale/fantasy romance?

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Elisa meets Alaric and they start courting. Unfortunately her prophecy comes into play. Elisa was very brave and dedicated as she works to save her brothers and stop her prophecy. The one who caused it all to start was a surprise. I like how Alaric saves her and her brothers.

Good book that takes a classic fairy tale and put their main character at a school and determined to avoid their fate/destiny. I love fairytale retellings and this is a good one.
