About this ebook

Welcoming souls to the afterlife is only part of Amentet's job.

When one of the Nariu escapes from the afterlife, Amentet finds herself having to work alongside a god she can't stand in order to find him and bring him back to the caverns where he belongs.

While Horakhty might get under Amentet's skin, there's no doubt that the two of them work well together, if they can put aside their differences for long enough to manage it.

Tree Of The Afterlife is part of the Forgotten Gods series and is based on Egyptian mythology. It includes a m/f romance, and can be read as a standalone.

There are changes in Duat, gods and goddesses are now able to go between the afterlife and the living. “Horakhty and Amentet's task is to locate the Nariu who has gone to the land of the living and bring him back. Secrets come out and changes are happening. This was a quick read that I enjoyed. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

It may have been hate at almost first sight for Amentet and Horakhty. But when they have to work together to bring a wandering cavern deity back to the afterlife, they might discover how much of their animosity was based on a misunderstanding. I really enjoyed watching this pair unpack their feelings and misconceptions to find the common ground between them. And now I’m very curious to discover why the Nariu are behaving so uncharacteristically. I received a complimentary copy of this book

You’re in my way! Horakhty and Amentet don’t get along. He always picks the spot where she is standing when he enters Duat and rudely expects her to move. Couldn’t he enter elsewhere or be polite about it. Despite their animosity, something is wrong in Duat and they’ll need to work together to fix it. How could someone leave without anyone knowing until now? I wondered when the Nariu would reappear. This is an enjoyable series. It’s fiction but I learn a little about the gods with every book.
