About this ebook

Unlikely friends. An undeniable attraction.

Telling everyone my best friend, Max, and I are dating was a panic move. But when my younger sister announced her engagement, I knew my parents were going to crank up the pressure cooker to see me settle down.

We were polar opposites. A tattooed bar owner and a strait-laced math teacher. Who’d actually believe it? I knew he’d play along, though.

The plan was simple. Fake date through all the wedding festivities, then stage a break-up. We were so close to pulling it off. That is, until the chemistry between us felt all too real.

To save our friendship, I tried to ignore the magnetic pull. Every thought betrayed me. He made me happier than I ever dreamed possible. If only I knew he felt the same way.

This is the second book in this amazing series and is Max and Zoe’s story. These two forged a bond in childhood and have been best friends ever since. Max is a tattooed bar owner, while Zoe is a quiet and sweet math's teacher. When Zoe’s sister becomes engaged, she panics and tells her parents that she and Max are in a relationship, which he agrees to. Fake dating brings out other emotions from Max and Zoe, but can they move on together, or is the fear of losing their friendship taking priority? This is a well written story which has undeniable chemistry, friendships, family, emotions, intrigue, humor, witty banter, and love, which leads to an all-consuming page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

5 star Review One More Chance (Second Chance Harbor #2) by Lea Coll I love stories set in small towns add in that it is a friends to lovers story and I could not wait to read One More Chance. From the first chapter to the last, I was invested in Zoe and Max’s story. Lea Coll has a way of writing that I find easy to connect too as her characters are engaging and easy to relate to. It was only a little fib, telling her family that she is dating her best friend Max but Zoe has no idea of the chaos that is about to occur because of it. Zoe and Max are total opposites but they are well suited, in spite of their differences. However if there is one thing Zoe knows for sure is that Max will have her back, no matter what. Agreeing to pretend is the first step on a path that will quickly become complicated when feelings become involved. Despite their best intentions, Zoe cannot help but be attracted to Max, even though they have been best friends since childhood. The chemistry that sizzles between them becomes impossible to ignore. The connection that lies between them is soul deep, the question is whether it is worth risking their friendship? Will this be the start of their love story or will it destroy their lifelong friendship? One click and find out.
