Lisa Harris threw all of us lovers of Nikki Boyd books by completly shifting gears and bringing in mostly new characters to solve the mystery of who is killing young girls including her own sister. The story is fast paced, page turner and I like the new characters. I like the reality of what the crime scenes and emotions would be and that they are not watered down because its a Christian based book. The book makes us take a hard look at true evil and our Christian values. We do finally find out what happened to Sarah, Nikkis sister and who our killer is. Only small issue i had was toward the end of the book Nikki is woven into the story and knowing her character well from previous books it felt like she took too much of a back seat to what was going on which didnt seem to line up with her personality. Overall a big Win for me and loved the book. One question when is our next Nikki book coming out!

This was a pretty great mystery, though personally I found the insert of long passages of time annoying at best. It is still a great little mystery, though.
