About this eBook

Ten years ago, my high school crush found me during senior finals week in the student parking lot with my car decorated with items you find behind a drugstore counter and a “Most Likely to...” banner that would make a pro blush.

And by “pro,” I don't mean golf.

In under an hour, everything I knew about myself was turned upside down and inside out, just as our high school career was in its final hours.

Then again, he's the high school quarterback. He's used to performing when the clock's running out.

Me? I perform well under pressure, too.

But not when Will Lotham is about to kiss me.

Or is he?

Little Miss Perfect is a prequel to the events that take place in FluffyNew York Times bestselling author Julia Kent's new book. It can be read on its own, without having read Fluffy.

4 stars — I was needing something light and easy, like a palate cleanser for a book hangover, and this fit the bill. I haven’t read the rest of the series yet, and I can imagine that if I never did, this story would be unsatisfying…but it sets up that story fairly well in that we get a glimpse of what Mallory and Will’s relationship (or lack thereof) was like. Mallory was deliciously awkward. I kind of thought from the blurb there was going to be more angst/bullying, but there wasn’t. I appreciated seeing these glimpses of Will — his facade vs his real self. It intrigued me. And it was interesting to see the differences in their lives. All in all great as a prequel, probably not as fun if you really never read more.

Mallory is the perfectly endearing awkward geek girl. All brain and almost no social graces. I recognize her because I’ve been her. Will might as well be king of the school. He’s the smart jock who seems to have everything going for him. This quirky little encounter in their school parking lot is charming and funny, and makes me very excited to read the rest of their story.

A quick little prequel to Fluffy. This really sets up the high school dynamic between Will and Mallory. This short story reflects and hour or so prior to their final government exam, which will determine between the two of them, who will hold the valedictorian spot for their graduating class of 2009. It sends the reader back to those raging hormone charged days of high school full of uncertainty and possibilities. It's a fun read like all of Julia Kent's work and the perfect set up for Fluffy..

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Julia Kent writes romantic comedy with an edge. Since 2013, she has sold more than 2 million books, with 4 New York Times bestsellers and more than 19 appearances on the USA Today bestseller list. Her books have been translated into French and German, with more titles releasing in 2019.

From billionaires to BBWs to new adult rock stars, Julia finds a sensual, goofy joy in every contemporary romance she writes. Unlike Shannon from Shopping for a Billionaire, she did not meet her husband after dropping her phone in a men's room toilet (and he isn't a billionaire she met in a romantic comedy).

She lives in New England with her husband and three children where she is the only person in the household with the gene required to change empty toilet paper rolls.
