Man of Action

I adored Rowan. His social awkwardness called to a very real part of me. His canine partner was pretty special too. I know it was essential for the story, but I wasn’t as big a fan of Morgan. She managed to push a lot of my hot buttons, and that left me gnashing my teeth in frustration. I don’t do well with heroines that put themselves and/or other people in danger by not listening to good sense. How hung up she was on another man also left me kind of miffed on Rowan’s behalf. However, the fact that I was pulled so deeply into the story that I became invested enough to have that kind of emotional reaction to the characters is all to the author’s credit. Now that we’ve seen the K-9 unit take another bite out of organized crime in the city, I can’t wait to see where the author will take us next I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.

The Sling is still a threat to the city. Officer O'Malley volunteers to do an undercover operation in the mayors office and ropes Morgan Grant into helping him. More members of the Sling are revealed and a dangerous situation for Rowan, Morgan and Duff. This has romance, suspense, danger and of course love. A wonderful addition to this amazing series that was entertaining.

This is the fifth book in the K-9 Protection Romance series. I love this series of interconnected stories! Morgan and Rowan's story is entertaining, and sweet. I liked the humor, the intrigue and the suspense. This is a great addition to the series. I enjoyed it!
