About this ebook

This is the second and final installment in the Shinjuku Strain series and picks up where the first book left off, with Brian Pace struggling to survive in a world that is rapidly changing under the scourge of Shinjuku X.

After murdering his wife and slaying his mutated son, Brian panics and is forced to confront what he does not yet know: human beings are turning into violent, blood thirsty creatures with an appetite for flesh, and a swarm of them is headed right for him.

Brian and Dr. Covitz must set out to find Michelle and develop a cure for the disease before the remaining survivors turn. In doing so they must contend with psychopathic leaders, each other, and a virus that continues to mutate into various forms as it threatens to snuff out life on Earth.

Ultimately Brian must carve a path forward for humanity, using his will to survive as a catalyst to save the world. Will he succeed? Or will the world crumble under the scourge of Shinjuku X?

It's books like these that make me want to be a book editor. Good story bu t needs to be read first before being published. A grammar mistake: author used the word waist when he meant waste- in the first book and a spelling error as well.

I liked the first book enough to buy the second. There are quite a few spelling errors that were a little frustrating. As someone stated earlier the author used "waist" when they meant "waste" - I think it definitely should have had some sort of spell check before sent out. Over all the story was good, I honestly really enjoyed the author's vision on what an extraterrestrial disease infiltration would be like. Hopfully more books come out so I can read them, maybe hopefully they are longer, time went by too quickly! ❤

I won't comment on the obvious reference at the end. It will ruin it for the readers. Good writing, plenty oh "oh cmon now, you can't be serious " I still enjoyed it.

About the author

 Hello Everyone, I'm Marc Sloane.

There is nothing I love more than an intriguing story. To me, plot is of utmost importance. Ever since I was a young child I would stare in amazement at the stars, cooking up stories and bouncing around ideas. And that has never stopped. My mind moves a million miles a minute, and I oftentimes wish I had a spacecraft that could do the same thing.

When I am not working on my next title, I am a Director of Finance for a large multi-national corporation, building out complicated spreadsheets and financial models for the self-styled masters of the universe I work for, which is why I so look forward to inching my stories forward to completion.

I currently live with my girlfriend of two years in Sunny, Thousand Oaks, CA, but grew up in the windy Mojave desert, in the Antelope Valley.

At the end of the day, Marc Sloane doesn't exist without my readers. I thank each and every one of you for reading my stories! I have seven works-in-progress and I plan for many more to come, so stay tuned!

Marc
