This book was just pure fun, from beginning to end! It hit all of my favorite boxes, in one amazing book (best friend's older brother, sports romance, fake/real wedding romance) Charlie and Alex were a wonderful, full of laughs couple that totally made my day! Charlie is coming out of a really bad break up. And she really doesn't want to face her ex and his new fling. But her bestie has a really great idea.....maybe. Charlie sees lots of complications with the plan, something she could do without. Somehow, she gets roped into her bestie's shenanigans, and finds herself going to a wedding with a hot hockey player! And things just get crazy from there! Alex is a determined bachelor for life. Relationships, commitment and marriage are definitely not for him. When his sister asks for a favor, he balks. He remembers fun, tomboy Charlie. Boy, is he in for a surprise! I'm not sure what I expected from this book. I knew going in that I enjoy it, based off of previous books by the author. I just didn't expect to love the characters so much! I really related to Charlie. She was real, right from the beginning. And Alex, even though he is a pro hockey player, had real feelings, real reactions, real thoughts. Together, their interactions were steamy, but still had an element of comedy, which I love. It was definitely one I enjoyed, and would tell anyone who enjoys romance with a twist to pick up!

Alex is a professional hockey player with some serious skills both on and off the ice. He isn't looking to settle down. Charley has always been a tomboy. She grew up playing hockey on the boys' team and was really good at it. She dated a man who said he wanted to make partner before he got married. When he did, she expected a proposal. What she got was him telling her that he was now with the daughter of his boss. Charley is supposed to go to Vegas and be in her best friend Bella's wedding. Her ex will be there too along with his new girlfriend. As a favor to his sister, Alex agrees to be Charley's date to the wedding. He doesn't want to because he remembers Charley as a tomboy. He is taken aback when she answers the door and sees her. Alex and Charley have a lot of fun and too much to drink at the wedding and wake up the next morning married to each other. They decide stay married while they work out the details of a divorce but find maybe they don't want to get divorced.

This was a fun read from start to finish that doesn’t disappoint to entertain its readers. Swoon worthy, heat galore and a romance that will make your heart soar. I loved Alex and Charlotte characters, they were spontaneous, cute, and life of the party. What happens when Bella, Alex sisters asked him to be the date for her best friend Charley made for an entertaining romance read that packs a punch in the feels with a wonderful storyline and a deserving HEA. This is a definite must read!
