Prison will make or break you...

Danger and violence have always been a part of Susan Dalston's East End upbringing, but being locked up with another murderess will have consequences that no one could have predicted. TWO WOMEN by Sunday Times No. 1 bestseller Martina Cole tells the truth about prison life, and how far one woman will go for justice...

Susan Dalston killed her husband in a final act of desperation.

Banged up in Holloway, all that keeps her sane is knowing that her children are now safe from the man who terrorised them. What she can't predict is that the bonds she forms on the inside might just make - or break - her.

This was my First Martina Cole books that I read may years ago and I was was so thrilled at the prospect of finding a new Author whose books I knew instantly were going to get better and I had to then start reading them one after another, all the ones that were out at the time anyway. This book is pure classic Martina, it's her at her best, her way of writing drags you deep into the world in which she writes. This book broke my heart the girl in it suffers in the worst possible way and when she thinks that the boy she loves is going to take her away from it all and protect her, she couldn't have been more wrong. I love how Martina can start her books as far back as the 2nd world war n end them in the present day, the ones that are my favourite are her older ones her newer ones seemed to be just a repetition & I found Jessie Keanes books better than Martinas new ones, but I will always be a true and loyal fan of Cole she is amazing in her storytelling and cant wait to read her new book "The Life". I have went back and am currently reading the ladykiller and after that I have the follow up book Broken as it's been years since I've read them, then its new book "The Life" cant wait

Incredible story!!! Im actually speechless. The author‘s story telling skills are like anything I‘ve read before. The characters perfectly developed and you never loose site of each one‘s personality or the storyline she created. Brilliant book. A must read by everyone!

As usual Martina Coles does not disappoint with her brutal, gritty story of the downtrodden Susan who suffers so much pain and misery but finally finds some peace and happiness in the end! As far as I'm concerned a great read!
