No No NO! I don't want this series to be over! I am not going to recap the story because it would bee too hard to without a spoiler. I have to admit at first I thought I missed a book. This story seems to take place around 5 years later. But as I read on everything was explained and things fell into place. I have to admit I would have liked to seen a book between Crucible of Fate and this one that actually showed some of these events developing but the book was still amazing. The characters are all awesome, the story line shocking as heck. When you don't think you can get surprised in this series Mary Calmes pulls the rug right out from under you. There are some major twists, plenty of action, drama and some hot man-sex. You do need to read these stories in order in my opinion, though there is plenty of backstory you may be able to follow. But this series is so good and intense I highly recommend it all! I do hope there are some spin-offs since there are some characters that deserve stories.
