About this eBook

Matched is the first book in an utterly compelling series by Ally Condie.

On her seventeenth birthday, Cassia meets her Match. Society dictates he is her perfect partner for life.

Except he's not.

In Cassia's society, Officials decide who people love.
How many children they have.
Where they work.
When they die.

But, as Cassia finds herself falling in love with another boy, she is determined to make some choices of her own.

And that's when her whole world begins to unravel . . .

I found it very slow to get going. It's as if the book has been longed out just for a part two. You keep reading hoping it'll get exciting soon and it does; at the end.

It was okay. Just okay. My problem is is that I really liked Xander and I thought Ky was annoying and overdramatic. But the premise is good and I thought the character development was great. Apart from Ky? I don't know. I might be biased.

Matched is a good book because its like hunger games with the controlling society and the  rebellion of the other provinces or districts but mixed with a modern love story problem; a love triangle. I fully recommend this book.
