About this eBook

The list of people Dallas Longhorns manager Javi Flores hates is a short one, but sports agent Aerin Stone is right at the top. But that doesn’t mean he hasn’t noticed that she’s sexy as hell, and he can’t decide what he hates more: the woman herself, or how much he wants her. Because as much as she drives him crazy, he can’t stop fantasizing about her.

Aerin Stone is tired of being strong. As a successful sports agent at the top of her game, she spends her days fighting for her clients. But she spends her nights nursing her broken heart, trying to put the pieces of her life back together after her divorce. She’s not looking for love, but when cocky, sex-on-a-stick Javier Flores offers her one night of incredible sex after a game of truth or dare, she jumps at the chance. For one night, she lets dominant Javi take over, and she’s shocked to find that letting the sexy, dirty talking single dad boss her around is exactly what she needs.

Even though they both hate how good it feels, one night isn’t enough. Javi wants more. He wants everything…

Book 4 in the Dallas Longhorns series and can be read as a standalone. Loved this enemies to lovers romance. Javier and Aerin were such a great couple. All it took was one night to change their hate for each other to a fiery lust that was explosive. Loved watching them cross that line between love and hate. They had a lot of trust issues due to them both being hurt before but watching them help each work through that pain and find love again was really good. Can’t wait to read more from this author. I read an early review copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved the chemistry between Javi and Aerin. It was smoking hot. I’m glad that after all the baggage they have separately that they found their HEA. I would definitely be reading more books from this author.

This was another delightful read from, Tara. What I like about her stories is that it doesn't follow the usual formula. I know the formula works, that's why it's a formula. But it's really refreshing to read about characters who are in their 40s, who have struggles that you can relate with, who are not perfect. I read a lot of contemporary romance and they just blur into each other. I forget them as soon as I close the book. Tara's characters stay with me and I actually wonder what happens to them after the story. Another home run. Congratulations. Definitely looking forward to the next series. The teaser in this one was enough to make me want more. ARC generously provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.
