In this second book about horse shifters the scene goes from steeplechases to showjumping and again it shows that Ms Baker really knows her horses. As a horseperson myself I could see Charlemagne behave like he did and it is just so funny and lovable. I liked the way the characters developed and the growing understanding of themselves and between them. The relationships that exist between the women and between the men deepens the story line. The opposing evil is slowly emerging. Loved it.
