Sometimes Fate Throws a Curve Ball, or a Dog That Looks Like a Mop! HEA with No cliffhangers! These are about the members of the Chase family. I suggest reading them in order to get the best experience. Content Warning: There is mild sex-play. ♥ Story ♥ This is the first full title in the Take A Chance Series. All of the full titles focus on one of the 11 siblings of the Chance family. First up is Evan. He is in the upper middle of the brood. Evan ❤ Caitlyn Evan Chance is turning 35. His mom gives him the bucket/todo list he wrote when he was 12. Aside from being rich, he hasn't accomplished much else. A tragedy close to his heart, makes him realize that there is not always another day. He decides to quit his lucrative job as a corporate lawyer and set out to complete his list. He doesn't get far before fate sets him on a different path. A mop of a dog runs in front of his bike and that starts a whole new adventure. The town he finds himself in, just won't let him escape. It's in a funny way, not a creepy children of the corn kind of way. Caitlyn Sorenson is the local doctor. She took over her grandfather's practice. Evan ends up on her doorstep with the dog, because the sheriff was trying to play a prank on her when he says she's a vet not a people doctor. Of course she is taken with the hunky biker, but tries to be professional. Evan doesn't make it easy for her to resist by putting his lawyering skills to use. EVAN’S AMAZING LIFE LIST Make a million dollars before age 30. Ride a motorcycle across the country Kiss a girl in the rain Run a marathon Learn Spanish Have sex with a woman! Learn to play an instrument Travel to India Fly a plane Scuba dive a ship wreck Swim in every ocean Swim with dolphins Hike the Grand Canyon Leave the world a better place than I found it The angst is low, which I appreciate. The two love birds do face some settling down issues. I think Caitlyn is a bit of a late grower in that department, but it all works out in the end. We get to meet a good chunk of the other siblings in the beginning of this story. I look forward to all of their stories! ♥ Author ♥ Nancy Warren made me laugh as well as pull my gut strings in anticipation! ♥ Narrator(s) ♥ I enjoyed Teri Schnaubelt's performance. Its like have a friend read you a story. ♥ Audio Production ♥ Normal speed was fine. Audiobook obtained at my request and I am voluntarily leaving this unbiased review.

I loved this story, and hated it to end. The story was smooth and well written with just enough humor, and touching scenes to keep you turning pages. There was plenty of detail, yet just enough to open the imagination allowing you to picture the word scene on-going. And what a beautiful scene it is. All the characters are contemporary, and positively believable. Two young professionals, from different sides of the tracks, Educated and driven. A beautiful female doctor back in her small town, takes over her grandfather's practice, and a crack Lawyer, who felt his association with a large corporate law firm was killing him. He leaves the firm to start a trip of discovery and awakening. While trying to avoid a dog seemingly running right in to his motorcycle, he lays it down surviving with some cuts and bruises, The dog was hit on the leg and needed a vet. The story goes on from there .

This novel has all the right ingredients for the beginning of an amazing life. While running away from the perfect job with a motorcycle trip across the country a little run in with a stray dog leads Evan to the best adventure of all. LOVE
