Duff Callaway is ready for some serious chilling in Cancun but his fun in the sun soon becomes a rescue mission when his beautiful diving partner is attacked in this exciting romantic suspense. Natalie is determined to find her abducted sister even if that means setting herself up as bait and the readers are pulled into the intrigue and excitement as Natalie is unprepared for the irresistible stranger that she has to trust with her life. The chemistry is a sizzling stinger missile that has landed on target and has Natalie and Duff giving into a powerful desire and the reader can feel all of the heat and the emotions that flow from the pages as the couple struggle with their growing attraction while dealing with bad guys. The characters are strong, compelling and grab the reader’s attention while the fast paced and smooth flowing plot thrills readers with lots of suspense, excitement and romance. When Natalie learns of sister’s disappearance, she immediately calls in her contacts and sets off for Cancun and the action and intrigue is non-stop from there and adrenaline is sure to get the blood pumping when the bad guys immediately try to snatch up Natalie too has hands full not knowing who she can trust and Duff trying to figure out just what Natalie’s holding back. The scenes are well written and full of great detail which makes it easy to picture the scenes as they are happening which of course allows the reader to become completely engrossed in the story while some unexpected twist keep everyone guessing. The setting for the story is a bit of a bonus because readers get a taste of a great vacation spot and for me when you add in sexy SEALs and a story where the good guys fight bad guys and I was a goner, no way could I put the book down until I had read every last page and I can’t wait to read Sawyer’s story. Oh and by the way, readers get another bonus in the captivating, well written, fast paced and smooth flowing story by Delores Fossen that gets the adrenaline pumping and the heat flowing, so back, relax and enjoy. 4 ½ STARS

Natalie is a former Stealth Operations Specialist (SOS) but she left the group to take care of her younger sister when their parents died. Melody is now in college and she disappeared while on a diving excursion in Cancun. The Mexican authorities assume she died in the ocean and have stopped looking for her. Natalie is convinced that she was abducted and contacted her former boss for help in mounting a search and rescue mission. Dutton (Duff) Calloway and his buddies are Navy SEALs on a well-deserved vacation. The last thing they expect to be doing is helping a beautiful women look for her sister. Duff is captivated by Natalie when they first meet and he wants to get to know her better but he is also puzzled by her strange behavior. When Natalie is almost kidnapped on a diving excursion, just like the one Melody was on, Duff manages to save her. When Natalie is furious with Duff for saving her she decides to confess all and confide in him. This story kept me glued to my ereader until I finished it. There is a nice amount of sexy time and lots of suspense and action. Elle James does a perfect job of describing the events that unfold during this story. We are introduced to a great bunch of Navy SEALs and I’m sure she has stories planned for at least some of them. While this is the start to a new series it is also a standalone read with a happy for now (HFN). I hope we get to see a little more of Natalie and Duff in some of the upcoming books. *****Reviewed for Xtreme-Delusions***** I received an ARC of this book from the author in exchange for my honest review.
