I'm a goaltender in a slump but, when I meet a redhead who raises more than my blood pressure, it's game on. One steamy night with Bliss and I'm winning games again. Our affair is on fire and and so is my game. But we both know it can't last. I want to move up to the NHL, and Bliss has her roots planted in a small town.

I'm not looking for a relationship, especially not with an intense, driven athlete who's chasing his dreams. My ex's need for control nearly made me his emotional slave. I'm never going to give another man that kind of hold over me again. But a one-night stand with a hot hockey player who won't be around forever? Absolutely. But Shane's off-beat humor and killer smile might be more than I can withstand. And when Shane gets the call he’s been waiting for his whole life, I realize I've been fooling myself about giving him up. And Shane isn't giving up without a fight.
