A great start to a new series, The President's Daughters. Annalise wants to follow in her father's footsteps to the Oval Office, her life has been planned out accordingly until she meets fellow coworker, Luke. Luke has never liked Annalise, but when they are on assignment together they can't deny the chemistry that they share. Luke did not grow up in the best of situations. Will they be able to figure out their HEA? Thoroughly enjoyed this book, loved how close these sisters are. Loved Luke, how he grew up in the foster system and now is a big brother for a foster child. Looking forward to reading more in this series.

This was an interesting change of focus for me to read, and I loved most aspects of the story. A particular strength for me was the integrity demonstrated by the main characters throughout, and another was the dynamic between Luke and Annalise, as it changes through his getting to know her better. I didn’t connect as strongly with her as I’d hoped to do, but that’s a me-issue, not a writing one! It was great seeing the Manwarings again, and I can’t wait to read more in this series. It’s a book that helps you feel a bit more hopeful about the future.

Annalise wants to follow in Daddy’s footsteps, become President one day and is working for a company called the Justice Project who supports candidates running for public office, except her boss, Luke. What starts out as conflict changes between them but will the change be for the better? Family dynamics, challenges, fun, intrigue, love and so much more!!
