I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review. Travis Walker has been battling dark urges since the day Juliet Prince kidnapped his six-year-old daughter four months ago. Although Kate was returned safely, the woman responsible vanished. When their attempts to find her keep coming up empty, Travis left his need for retribution consume him and it nearly cost him his relationship and his family. Thanks to the help of Gage and Kylie, Travis came back from the brink and passed the case back where it belonged with the Off the Books Task Force. When the unthinkable happens, Travis's need for vengeance is renewed and he will move heaven and earth to avenge his family. Oh gosh, I feel like I have to warn you to buckle up and enjoy the ride that you just are going to be a mess over. I love the Walker's and was so thrilled we were getting this story. After all Travis is a man who wants revenge for his daughter being taken but I don't think I even gripped in my mind how far he was willing to go before he did what he was supposed to and let the Off The Books Task Force do their job. I could have lost it a few times and my heart hurt so bad for Travis and his family. He is a man consumed and about to lose everything he holds near and dear. However that stupid Juliet isn't done with him yet....Talk about a woman that I hate with every fiber of my being, that's her. Ugh I despised her and she is not a redeemable character at all. But hey I didn't want to give a spoiler away and ruin everything. I have to say that I was all over the place and super emotional and I dared anyone to speak to me while I was reading this book. This is a book that you won't be able to put down. There are twists and turns that will make you just weak in the knees and you will not be putting this book down when you start reading it. I would give this book a hundred stars if I could. This is one of the best books that Nicole Edwards has ever written.

OMG!! What can I say except that this book, Alibi, is by far Nicole Edwards best book yet!! Wow!! I am still reeling from everything that happened in this book. Nicole Edwards basically ripped my heart completely out in this book, and then she slowly, but surely stitched it back together again. What a ride Alibi was from the moment the book began. I don't believe I have ever cried so hard before while reading a book. Yes, people, this one is not for reading while at work or anywhere you don't want people to see you bawling like a baby, because you will bawl like a baby. There were so many times while reading this book that I did not want to continue because I could not believe what had just happened, but at the same time I had to continue reading because I could not believe what had just happened. Wow!! This one is powerful and so well written. Alibi picks up right where Deadly Coincidence left off, so, although each book comes to a complete conclusion at the end, there is still a main storyline running through them that requires you to read the four books before this one. Plus, why wouldn't you want to since this series is beyond excellent. Brantley, Reese and the rest of the "task force" are still on the hunt for Juliet Prince , who has and continues to wreck havoc in Travis Walker's life, but continues to elude the team. And it is the search and the ramifications of not finding her fast enough that makes Alibi such a great read. You will not put it down once you start! If you are looking for a fast-paced, suspense riddled series that also is hot and steamy, and brings together characters from at least 4 four of Nicole Edwards prior books then the Off the Books series is the one for you. Nicole Edwards truly is a masterful storyteller. The way she weaved all of these stories together while still keeping the main storyline of the Off the Books series together is nothing short of amazing. She is at her absolute best in Alibi. I am still trying to wrap my head around all of the events that occurred in this one even though I finished the book. Alibi was simply amazing. I cannot wait to read what is next in store for Brantley Walker and the team, because there is definitely more in store for them. I'm looking at you Reese, Trey, Magnus, and Baz!! Bravo, Nicole Edwards!! Bravo!!

It’s taken me a day or so to words to paper and even as I write this review I’m wondering what to say that would do this emotional read justice. I first off want to say this review will be short and sweet because I believe you need to read Alibi with no preconceived ideas, you need to read it first hand. This is the 5th book in the Brantley Walker: Off the Books Series and as you would expect there is plenty of suspense happening but this story is different because it’s brings all the Walkers back together as well as many other familiar faces. It’s an emotional read that tore me apart and put me back together again, it’s a story that will stay with me long after reading the final words and it certainly deserves every star of the five I’m giving it, if I could give it more I would. I was drawn and captivated from the first chapter and there was no putting down until the final word had been read so please make sure you have time to finish what you start. There is a lot happening in this book and I really recommend you read the previous books before picking up this one. Nicole Edwards is a strong, talented writer but for me Alibi has taken her to another level.
