I've read all of the cozy mysteries from this author, starting first with her Target Practice series and now her Reality TV mystery series, and this one doesn't disappoint. The one thing I LOVE about these is the fact that I can read them literally anywhere at anytime. What do I mean by this? I think we can all relate to pulling out our phone when we have 2 minutes to spare, whether we are standing in line at the grocery store or sitting in a waiting room. In the past I would waste time scrolling through facebook or playing games, but now I can READ! These cozy mysteries are the perfect thing for those few minutes of spare time. Haverstock has written these in a way that you want to read more, but you aren't lost if you have to put it down or pick it back up frequently. I still wish these were full length novels, as I love them so much!

Crossover Murder is a screwball comedy/cozy mystery combination. There are numerous laugh out loud moments. Bubbles 🐕 once again stole the show! He is such a unique little guy. Melissa and Ryan still haven't started their relationship. They're circling around it. Although there is the definite promise of things heating up! 🔥 I'm looking forward to seeing how their relationship progresses. Just as in Book 1, Lights, Camera, Murder, the murder is solved. There were so many tangents spiraling off the main story that I can't wait to see where Nikki Haverstock takes the story next. I highly recommend reading both books in the Reality TV Cozy Mysteries Series. If you like to laugh while enjoying a well-written cozy mystery, these books are sure to please.

I love this series! The writing is so sharp with well developed characters. I also enjoying the behind the scenes glimpse of a working reality tv series. I could not wait to get to this second book in the series. I could not wait to see what was going to happen with Melissa and Ryan. Bubbles again steals the show with all of his actions. This second book has an interesting twist of adding a second reality show to "crossover" and film in Fishcreek Falls. This second show brings a lot of drama- including another producer who has her eye on Ryan. This book has everything you can ask for- mystery, humor, and romance. It is a fun and engaging book. I highly recommend it!

About the author

Nikki Haverstock is a writer who lives on a cattle ranch high in the Rocky Mountains. She has studied comedy writing at Second City and has published 6 cozy mysteries that are heavy on the humor.

Before fleeing the city, she hosted a competitive archery reality show, traveled the world to study volcanoes, taught archery and computer science at a university and now works on her family’s ranch herding cattle. Nikki has more college degrees than she has sense and hopefully one day she will put one to work.

Nikki likes to write comedy pieces that focus on the everyday humor of one-uppers, annoying family members and strange behavior of the ultra-rich. She tried stand up but the cattle weren’t impressed.
