About this ebook

After a frustrating series of bad dates, Vivian Carmichael has concocted a plan for turning around her romantic life. She wants someone with confidence and experience--a man who really has his life together. So she's going to start dating older men.

Okay, fine. She actually just wants one man. Rick Grant, the hot novelist who spends hours writing at her favorite coffee shop. But she can't have him. In fact, she desperately needs to get over him, so she's going to find someone else in his age range and fall for him instead.

If Rick can introduce her to some of his friends, that will expedite matters. After all, he's not interested in her, so it's not like he'll get jealous when she starts to date one of his friends.

Even if her plan doesn't go exactly the way she intends, she might still end up finding the love of her life.

This is book one in The Coble Coffee Series and it is Vivian and Rick's story and it is definitely a must read. Vivian has a big crush on Rick and over the last year they have sort of become friend's and had some really interesting conversations so when Vivian has had enough of dating men her own agenda they seem so immature she asks Rick if he has any older friend's that he could introduce her too as she wanted to be in a long term relationship where someone actually understood what that means. Rick has been writing science fiction book's for many year's but his career didn't take off until he self published them and he loves to writer the coffee shop but his love life is so bland until he met Vivian who was beautiful, smart and he loved talking to her and at one stage he thought that she was interested in him but at the time he had a girlfriend but now she is asking him to introduce her to older men but he really wants to go out with her himself and not constantly watching from the guidelines but he doesn't know how to do that. Will Rick and Vivian ever have the courage to make a move and tell each other how they feel of will they just remain friend's missing out on something special. I absolutely loved this book so much and read it in one sitting as I couldn't put it down as I wanted to see what the outcome would be for Rick and Vivian. I can't wait to read the next book in this series as it was so well written and addictive and I definitely recommend you read this book. I Voluntarily Reviewed a Copy of This Book.

I really enjoyed this younger woman - older man novella. It’s fast, but the fact that the hero and heroine have been sharing a table at the local coffee shop for the past year adds validity to their relationship. Vivian and Rick were both very likable and once they allowed themselves to let go with each other, this story moved from sweet and fun to intense heat as the pages lit up like an inferno between them. Whew! It was hot! What I especially loved about it was that the smexy times did not overwhelm the rest of the story but added to the legitimacy of this couple’s chemistry. I read this within an hour and found it to be highly satisfying as it includes everything needed for a lengthier book. I’m looking forward to the following books in this new series. This is a complete stand alone and does not end in a cliffhanger.

I usually love reading this author, but the editing in the first book is terrible. Almost as if auto correct attacked the pages.
