Ocean Light by Nalini Singh Genres; Adult, Paranormal, Romance, Suspense. 4.5 Stars My only negatives is occasionally the story was a bit repetitive and this slowed the pace/flow down. Other than that I adored it. I have been waiting a long time for Bowen Knight to get his story and I was not disappointed. Finally a great story about the humans in this Psy-Changeling series! The world build and foundation was fantastic. Add to that I got my second wish come true. A lot more about the Black Sea changelings. The romance between BlackSea's Kaia Luna and Bowen is stormy, turbulent and passionate. It is definitely an 'adult' romance, it is not erotic nor hard core in any way. It is sweet and loving. There are a lot of things going on and both Bowen and Kaia are unsure who the enemy is. Things point to many of their most trusted and loved. The suspense keeps you on your toes. While this story is mostly about the romance between Kaia & Bowen, there is no lack of action as they struggle to find the traitors to the Trinity and peace. I highly recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who loves great suspense with a solid adult romance.

Another brilliant read from Nalini Singh! The book was slow to start, then increasingly unfolded into a highly entertaining read! The story is set in an underwater BlackSea installment where Bowen is undergoing extensive testing to help disable the implant at the base of his brain before it kills him. But the BlackSea Changelings (shape-shifters) have other reasons why they are helping Bowen. Word on the street is Bowen’s dirty; responsible for the disappearances of several gifted water changelings. BlackSea needs to find out what Bowen knows before more changelings go missing. They’re racing the clock to save the one man who might lead them to their vanished. I loved the heck out of this book! Bowen and Kaia’s courtship was funny, sweet and frustrating. They had so many odds against them I was really pulling for the couple. Bowen is a thoughtful romantic and Kaia fought to resist his charms but ended up falling hard for the sexy security specialist 😉 We finally get to delve into the world of the water changelings! It was so exciting to read about all the different changeling species! What I loved even more was the mystery of it all! Every changeling was complex and distinctive. You could tell Ms. Singh spent a lot of time with the character development and the plot because the characters were so diverse and vibrant. I loved experiencing this undiscovered world of changelings right alongside Bowen! I also loved that we met new characters but we are also treated to several appearances from previous Psy-Changeling characters. More aspects of this amazing Psy-Changeling world are revealed as well. The story was riveting and I couldn’t put it down until the last page was devoured! OCEAN LIGHT is an amazing and exciting story! It’s the second book in the Psy-Changeling Trinity series but can be read as a standalone. If you are looking for an exciting story with dynamic characters, engaging plots and incredible love stories, pick yourself up a Nalini Singh book! You’ll get all of this and more! ***I voluntarily read a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and feelings are my own***
