I enjoyed Primal Vengeance so much that I turned around and read it all over again. I am not sure if it was Scooby finally meeting someone that could stand up to him, or the fact that Rowan found her family, but the story was an absolute joy to read. Primal Vengeance had all the feels. My heart still breaks for the loss of Scrappy, but not nearly as much as Scooby. He is struggling to deal with and accept his brother's death. The author was spot on for some of the struggles that a family member goes through. Reading about his struggles was so heart breaking. Scooby deserves some happiness in the world. As long as he plays his cards right he might just find happiness and so much more. My heart was all a twitter with the hopes that Scooby was letting someone in. I wasn't the only one. The women of the MC were all for him finding love. Kudos to Rowan for being cautious. She has enough to worry about with a price on her head. Scooby and Rowan's troubles brought so many thrills and chills. There was this one moment for Rowan that found me biting my nail off. It was a horrid moment for a lovely lady. Thank goodness she has Scooby and the rest of the MC looking out for her.

Loved Scooby and Rowan. And just think of the story behind how they met when they go to share that story. Really? Scooby was hired to kill Rowan. Not exactly your typical meet and fall in love. But they certainly made it work. Rowan was just what he needed, especially after the loss of his brother. Piper continues to write stories I love and can’t put down.
