Garrison Keillor lives in St. Paul, Minnesota, home of A Prairie Home Companion, his radio show, on the air since 1974 (with a long sabbatical in the middle). The Companion does thirty-two live shows a year and tours every year to New York, Washington, L.A., Chicago, and Tanglewood in the Berkshires. He is the author of many novels, including the Lake Wobegon novels, and wrote and appeared in the movie A Prairie Home Companion, directed by Robert Altman.
