Mr. Temptation is author Rachael Stewart’s second book in the Harlequin/Mills & Boon’s DARE line. I’m really enjoying the Dare line and Ms. Stewart is one of my auto-buy authors for hot & sexy reads. So I was really excited to start this book and meet this couple! Daniel Lazenby is a sexy, Swedish, billionaire businessman. He’s a playboy who doesn’t go for relationships, he has a no-strings rule. While helping his sister find a home in London, he meets her estate agent and sparks fly. Zara Anders is starting a new business after breaking up with her boyfriend of five years and former business partner. She doesn’t have time for a charming, good-looking playboy. So why can’t she resist him? Ms. Stewart has done it again! An utterly drool-worthy hero and a strong, confident heroine. Both are taken totally by surprise by their attraction to each other, and the fact they can’t seem to control their reaction to it. Their chemistry is off the charts, but then again this is Rachael Stewart, and this is where she excels. I liked Zara, she is a strong, determined woman trying to start a new business after a devastating betrayal. I like that she was able to see who Daniel was beneath the playboy image and that she was able to regain her self confidence back. Poor Daniel, he hasn’t had very good role models for positive relationships, so he truly is at a loss when he realizes he may be developing feelings for Zara. Seeing Daniel’s love for his sister and watching him deal with the foreign feelings he has for Zara made him a hero I quickly fell for. I really became invested in this couple and hoped they would find a way to overcome their vulnerabilities and find the courage to invest permanently in a future together. I adore Rachael Stewart’s writing! I always know when I pick up one of her books, I’m going to struggle to put it down. You are guaranteed a hot, sexy read but you also have a fabulous storyline and wonderful characters. This book was no exception, such a great story and the ending was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend this book and can’t wait to see what Ms. Stewart has for us in the future!
