This is the first book in the Claiming the Farrington Empire duet. Talk about an emotional rollercoaster. When he was a teen, Sebastian fled town with his mother and younger brother Theo, fearing and hiding from his abusive and powerful grandfather. That night left a lasting impression on Sebastian making him believe he was unworthy of love, fearing he'd turn out like his father and grandfather. It's been 16 years and he's returned home, a self made billionaire, only to discover that his childhood sweetheart has a teenager and he's the father. I think the author did a wonderful job making the story believable and not glossing over the hurt that Sebastian, Felicity and their daughter Angel have to process. I can't wait to read Theo's story. Great second chance surprise child romance, steamy and well written. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is book one in The Claiming The Ferrington Empire Series and it is Felicity and Sebastian's story and it is definitely a must read. Felicity and Sebastian had been so in love and then he just left and when she found out that she was pregnant she tried to find him but it was like he just disappeared of the face of the earth. Now sixteen years later and Sebastian has returned to settle his grandfather's estate and because he doesn't want to stay there because of all the bad memories he goes to The Gardner Guest House and there was Felicity (Flick) the woman that he never forgot. Felicity is so shocked to see Sebastian after all this time but she is still also angry even after all this time but she is also panicking because she had to not only tell her daughter Angel that he was her father but she had to tell Sebastian that he had a daughter but how would it affect everything as her daughter Angel was her life and she didn't know how either of them would take the news. Will this be there second chance or has to much time passed for them to ever become a family only time will tell what the outcome will be for them all. Omg I absolutely loved this book and it was so emotional and a real page turner and I couldn't put it down as I wanted to see what would happen next and I can't wait to read the next book in this q.
