1906 during the suffragette movement and Miss Angeline Marsden is a true supported lifting up her voice to be heard. Now how could that get her in trouble? With a strong willful nature it was not hard! But she looks to the one man she thinks can help her, Lucian, the Marquess of Severn, her brother's best friend. Although he has always treated her like a sister, her regard for him has always been anything but!! Lucien has always had some feelings for her but when she comes to him, it seems the only solution is to marry her and he does. But even though both have care for each other, it is a winding road to find a Christmas wish of them understanding each other! An enjoyable read, just right for the holiday spirit!!

First off I must declare I am a Dawn Brower fan and loyal supporter. I click very well with her writing skill and can't wait to read her next books. With this been said I was a bit dissapointed with this episode in the Marsden saga. If you have read all the books in this series it makes a much better read but it is a stand alone. I loved the fact that Lucian and Angeline are destined to be together it's a perfect match. Angeline has the same temperament of her Aunt Lily and a tendency to get herself into trouble. Lucian the older brother of her best friend always comes to her rescue. A lovely adventure in romance as they work out their path to happiness. I can recommend this book from young adult up as there is only a brief intimate scene at the end. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is such a beautiful story! I don't read many stories from this era in time but that might change after reading this one. The story is lovely and well written. I loved the characters in this fairly quick read. I really looking forward to reading more from this author. She covers so many time periods and does a real good job with the facts.
