(4.5) Be still my heart. Player in Hannah's shop had me in swoons, tears and laughter. The interactions with all were priceless I absolutely loved our big, tortured motorcycle guys watching out for the elderly, their gentleness and protectiveness. Player has layers to him we never knew, and the guilt this man carries. Oh my. Zyah brought tranquility, strength, intelligence and love to this series. My one issue is we all know Jacksons and Deverau from her Sea Haven Series and they are no push over, so I am having a little bit of trouble believing they are not seeing through some of the happenings with the club. This is a Christine Feehan novel so it had the non stop hot and steamy and then some. This is also her darker series in that all of the characters have endured beatings, whippings, abuse, sexual, physical and mental when the were children and teens. It is beyond gut wrenching, but the worse part is several levels of this goes on everyday all over the world. This series is about surviving, hoping and loving, At the end of her book Christine puts organizations and numbers you can reach out to help with, or reach out for help. Ok, so we are all entitled to our opinions. However, I love all of CF creations.. All of her books are amazing. this series, in particular to me, is best read after you read the 2 series regarding the sisters with their elemental and psychic abilities they all tie into one another. the drake sisters, then the sisters by bond of their terrible pasts, and that sets in with blythe and czar in torpedo ink.. It is all so wonderfully written and woven together thankyou for such wonderful adventures and love and a way of touching on the horrible subject of trafficking and just horrible things that are all too real in the world today the trauma that so many of us don't know how or want to deal with.. much love

SERIOUSLY loved this book, bringing Hannah into the story line...and the byplay in the STORE....HYSTERICAL. Loved the mergence of characters from sea haven into this, lightened the series which normally has dark undertones and humanized these guys who dont think their human. love love loved it. Read it straight thru. Have to admit the ending was a little left field lol.
