The Enforcer: A Russian Bratva Romance (Dark mafia billionaire enemies-to-lovers romantic suspense novel)

"When I'm around him, the chaos in my head seems to quiet." Another great one! Oleg was so amazing! His pain was so great and he so deserved someone to bring him out and show him that life is still worth living. Story is such a sweetheart and I loved how she handled him in such a loving way. He was the personification of tough and tender. (I also loved how he adored and worshipped her but was still so strong and dominant in the bedroom.) Their inner monologues were a perfect balance to his silence. No one deserves a happily ever after more than Oleg and Story. I really hope a baby is in their near future. I actually read this book years ago and suddenly realized I never posted a review for it, so now I am.

As I've been reading through the Chicago Bratva series, my eyes and heart have been pulled again and again Oleg, the enforcer. His imposing size, stoicism, quietness and his underlying layer of sweetness have been like catnip to me and I've been desperate to learn all his secrets and see him got a shot with the woman that he has been longing for. This book, number three in the series finally grants my wish and I was not disappointed. I will say that I feel this book could quite easily be read on its own. Just keep in mind that characters do reappear and there are some references to some things that have occurred in previous books. Personally I recommend them all though, so if you want the complete experience or you try this book and you find yourself intrigued and craving more, check them out. I do not believe that you will be sorry. Now back to this book. Oleg and Story really will make you heartache as both your temperature and heart rate increase as the well crafted and engaging storyline unfolds. These two have some major baggage that weighs very heavily in the emotional and the physical challenges this couple must face. I must say that I applaud the author because even knowing what details I did about Oleg, she still managed to stun me with a few things I had never considered. I thought this was just a terrific read that has characters that will tug at your heartstrings, a story that will keep you feeling like you're right on the edge and a romance that hits you with a ton of feels and heat. AND if you are reader that is always on the lookout for unique characters, Oleg should be on your radar. This is my unbiased, unsolicited review.

Wow, just wow! Love, love, love this book! Just when I think this series couldn't get any hotter, more alphalicious, more perfect, she proves me wrong, in the best way possible! Pardon the pun, but Oleg takes "the strong silent type" to a whole new level! We have seen glimpses of him in the first two books of the series, but getting to know him in his book, was positively awesome. I loved his intensity, loyalty and desire to do and be everything Story needs. Story was so broken by the actions of her family members, that you understand why she has an escape plan on standby at the beginning of any relationship. Yet she shared Oleg's fierce loyalty and made him come out of his shell of silence with her and his Bratva brothers. And finally you have the sexy times which went passed the expected hot to inferno level hawt!
