About this ebook

This is the CT quick reference study guide for the “non-radiologist” designed to help diagnose frequent, urgent conditions.  Medical professionals, including nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, medical students, medical residents, and non-radiologist physicians will find this information to be invaluable.  To maximize learning, each case is first presented as an “unknown” with a non-annotated image alongside brief points regarding the best CT study, key CT findings, pathology facts, and treatment.  Then, each case is presented with the annotated image and a brief discussion of the radiographic findings, tips to interpretation, and basic anatomy.  Covered sections include CT of the brain, neck, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and pediatrics. This second edition includes 34 new cases and an entirely new pediatric chapter. Additionally, the original 97 cases that span five chapters have been updated and expanded to 117 cases, including new references for each case. CT for the Non-Radiologist is the essential CT study guide!
