This is a good one! SEAL’s Deliverance is another great addition to the Take No Prisoner’s series. I’ve read the entire series and while the stories are connected by crossover characters you don’t have to have read any of the others to enjoy this one. Because they are great stories, I do highly recommend the others, though. This book finds the members of SEAL Team 10 fighting a threat to the loved ones of three team members. The story focuses mostly on “Sting Ray” Thompson but Big Bird and Irish are involved, too. Several other characters from previous books also make an appearance. Sting Ray, along with Big Bird and Irish, was part of the team that helped take out a factory that was making biological weapons. All three of them receive a text message threatening to take “something of value from you, someone you care about.” As Sting Ray has no significant other he quickly realizes the uncle who raised him back in Montana must be one of the targets. When his uncle is found sick in his remote cabin a biological weapon is suspected of causing his illness. They all must work together to stop the threat and try and find the person who infected his uncle. This story contained just the right balance of mystery, suspense and romance. While the romance happens quickly, that never bothers me much like I know it does some readers. This isn’t a real long book but Elle James does a fantastic job with character development – and there are a lot of characters in this story. I may have missed some clues but I didn’t anticipate who the bad guy was. If you love romantic suspense and hot military guys, you should like this story a lot. An advanced copy of this book was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author.
