About this eBook

His next flight becomes a fight for his life … and the life of the two pilots.

Colton is helping out on a training session in Greenland, currently in midair. The copilot is a woman he knew intimately and had planned to reconnect with, only life never seemed to give him that window. His flight turns into a nightmare as the engine blows, and he, along with the two pilots, are forced to abandon the bird and jump into the Arctic Ocean.

Kate Winnows might not have been overjoyed to see Colton as her only passenger, but she’s darn happy he’s here when all hell breaks loose. She’d never forgotten him. Had hoped to reconnect but, like him, her life was busy, finding each of them all over the planet. Now she needs him to help her save her reputation, her job and possibly her life … again. And, if she can make it happen, she wants a second chance to show him what he means to her.

Especially when they find out the crash was no accident but just the tip of the iceberg in a case involving blackmail, drugs and … murder.

Colton is sent on his first mission only to crash land in the freezing Arctic Ocean. The mystery begins when suspicions arise about possible sabotage to the plane. Along with Troy's help they work hard to solve the many mysteries. Danger and suspense pop up everywhere. While another member finds his partner all the surprising answers come to a head. I Great addition to the series.

What a great twist on the romance. I love that it wasn't angst, miscommunication, etc. It was so real to life for many people. Colton, our SEAL, checks all the boxes and Kate is a pilot in the Air Force, yes strong, intelligent,(and a knockout, so Colton says😄). When the plane they are on crashes into the ocean we are off. This was non stop twists, turns, uncovering a drug smuggling on base. A network running through the military. I loved the secondary character, the General running the base😋, probably because I am an older reader. I do have to say there was so much going on that I had to step back after reading it, catch my breath. I am thrilled for the opportunity to receive this arc and I voluntarily share my thoughts and opinions.

I thought that this was a really good read. The book has a story line that is an entertaining mix of adventure, action, drama, danger excitement, suspense, emotion, mystery and romance. Colton and Kate were likable characters that I thought worked well as a couple. You could feel the attraction and chemistry between them and their previous relationship and unexplored feelings added a lot of depth and tension to their story.
